Labor, delivery and our precious baby Caedmon!

Hello everyone! This is Paul posting on behalf of our family. Grandma Gibson stayed at the hospital with Lacey last night to give me some much needed rest. I'm sure Lacey will make a much more detailed post when she can, so check back in a few days. We hope you enjoy these photos of our exciting weekend at the hospital.

I was right, Lacey is probably sliding right back into her size 2 clothes right about now. Your belly was full of Caedmon. You look amazing. Keeping with the Halsell tradition birthing big babies. I'm sorry Lacey;-)
My first was 9lbs 3 oz. and I was 10 days late :-( Good thing Caedmon was early - hehe
Happy Birthday Caedmon!
Love,
Aunt Phyllis

Hooray!
This is such a time to CELEBRATE! Mary told me how beautiful you said his cry is - how true.

We love you and really enjoyed the pictures - when I could see them through all the tears that kept blocking my view.

Love,
Aunt Audrey, Uncle John and cousin Laura and cousin Baby Ortega

Congratulations you guys. What an ordeal. 41 hours must be a Halsell record (your new badge of honor). I can't believe Lacey let you post those in labor pictures Paul. I think the camera was banned from my hospital room until after delivery. He is beautiful and we can't wait to get more pictures. Give your wife and baby a hug from all of us. We love you guys.

I am so pleased that everyone is doing well and that all our prayers were answered. Enjoy him these first few months he will change so fast and the time will fly, try to record as much as you can not only to memory but through pictures and video. Sure wish I could hold Caed, but I am sure I will some day!

Love to all of you and Congratulations!!!!

I had such a hard time leaving you guys on Thursday. I miss holding Caedmon and all his wonderful baby noises and faces he makes. Thank you Paul and Lacey for letting me be a part of the beginning of Caedmon's life. Caedmon is so blessed to have two wonderful people such as you to be his parents. All my love to you all...
